On April 24, Momart Gallery inaugurates the collective exhibition “Habitat” in the exhibition spaces of Piazza Madonna dell’Idris, in the Sasso Caveoso. Curated by art historian Simona Spinella and realized in collaboration with Galleria Gallerati in Rome, the exhibition involves 19 Italian artists showcasing their works in a highly evocative exhibition path, where the contemporaneity of the works merges with the antiquity of the stone, in a play of solids and voids that breaks the schemes of a linear narrative, leaving the viewer free to explore scenarios with a unique style. Transformation, duality, body, home, ancestral, landscape, mimesis, water, and slow time are the themes that have inspired the artists carefully selected by Carlo Gallerati and Momart’s artistic director, Monica Palumbo. Themes that outline diametrically opposed scenarios in which every line, every stroke, every brushstroke, and every shape tells an intimate and personal dimension that can be fully grasped through a careful and curious gaze. The exhibition will remain open until June 30.
Opening: April 24th at 6 pm.
