His artistic practice has its roots in writing and popular militancy, with particular attention to the concept of the third landscape. His research is configured as a long-term investigation into the depopulation of Southern Italy (Mezzogiorno) and the complex dynamics that tie communities to the territories they inhabit. Exploring ethnographic, historical, intimate and ecological dimensions, his projects aim to construct connections between individual and collective memory, questioning the way in which such memories shape human relationship and our relationship with the landscape.
